Fix the Foundation: Speed, Crawlability, Indexing & Core Web Vitals

Technical SEO

Technical SEO is the work that makes your website easy for search engines to crawl, index, and trust, the foundation everything else is built on. You can have excellent content and still lose rankings if your site is slow, hard to crawl, badly structured, or throwing errors. Technical SEO fixes that foundation.

This is where many sites quietly lose ground, and it is where a genuinely technical team makes the difference. Most content-focused agencies treat technical SEO as a checklist; we treat it as engineering, because we build and run the servers and code these fixes touch.

What our technical SEO covers

  • Core Web Vitals and page speed: LCP, CLS, INP, render-blocking resources, and real-device performance
  • Crawlability and crawl budget: robots.txt, internal linking, and eliminating crawl waste
  • Indexation: fixing index bloat, thin and duplicate pages, canonicalisation, and sitemap accuracy
  • Structured data and schema markup for rich results and entity clarity
  • Site architecture, redirects, and HTTPS/canonical configuration
  • Log-file and error analysis, JavaScript rendering, and server-level fixes

Why this is our strength

We are a hands-on, technical team that has built and maintained websites on shared hosting, VPS, and custom stacks since 2012. The same people who audit your technical SEO also work directly with your server, code, and configuration, so issues get fixed at the root, not just flagged in a report. If your site has lost rankings or never performed the way it should, a technical SEO audit is the right place to start. Send us your URL and we will tell you honestly what is holding it back.

Technical SEO FAQ's

What is included in a technical SEO audit?

Crawlability and crawl waste, indexation problems, Core Web Vitals on real devices, site architecture and internal linking, redirect chains, canonical and HTTPS configuration, structured data, JavaScript rendering, and server-level issues like response times and error rates.

You get a list of what is wrong, what it is costing you, and what fixing each item involves — ordered by impact, not by how easy it is for us.

Usually not on its own. Technical work removes obstacles; it does not create demand or make thin content competitive. A fast, perfectly crawlable site with nothing worth reading still will not rank.

Where it does move things sharply is when something specific is broken — pages Google cannot index, a stray noindex, a canonical pointing at the wrong URL. We will tell you which situation you are in after the audit rather than before.

We fix them. That is the main reason clients come to us rather than to a content-led agency — the same people who run the audit work directly with the code, the server configuration and the database.

A report that lands on a developer who is already busy tends to sit there. If you would rather your own team implemented it, we will write it up for them and stay available for questions.

For the audit, no — most of it runs from outside, plus Search Console access if you can share it. For the fixes, usually yes: hosting or SSH access, and the CMS admin.

We work on client servers daily and treat access carefully. If your setup means we cannot have direct access, we can supply exact changes for your team to apply instead.

Around a week for a typical business site, longer for large e-commerce or anything with heavy JavaScript rendering, because crawling and log analysis take time to do properly.

Implementation depends entirely on what turns up. Some sites need two days of work; some need a rebuild, and we will say so plainly if that is the answer.
